Several years ago when I was on FakeBook, I came across a post from this fire breathing, voice squeaking, tears rolling down her face marketer who is aggravated.<\/p>\n
Aggravated.<\/p>\n
By the fact that people have the nerve to send her marketing messages to provide her with more value with what she bought.<\/p>\n
The nerve of us marketers these days.<\/p>\n
She goes onto say that she was horrified.<\/p>\n
Horrified!<\/p>\n
At the amount of emails she got from said company (they only sent 3 emails for the entire promo) to help her increase sales on the platform she is currently using.<\/p>\n
I would know.<\/p>\n
I also got those same emails.<\/p>\n
And although I did not buy what they was selling (did not need it) I still got value out of the webinar they put on which leads into today\u2019s very important lesson.<\/p>\n
If you are going to cry about getting marketing messages and you claim to be a marketer then just leave and go get a jobby job working for someone who does not value you enough to even want to give you a 10 cent raise.<\/p>\n
In other words;-<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t be THAT marketer who complains about getting marketing messages.<\/p>\n
